Maurice Evans

An 11-year former NBA Veteran, Maurice Evans played for seven different teams throughout his career, most notably the LA Lakers, Detroit Pistons, Atlanta Hawks, and Washington Wizards. Evans also served on the NBA Player’s Association’s executive committee for four (4) years. As Vice President, he was a key contributor during the 2011 NBA Lockout, which resulted in record contracts, increased benefits, more protection for players, and both players and owners sharing in more than $3B annually.

Evans is a passionate entrepreneur and has invested in many startup companies in the sports technology space over the past decade. His unique blend of business acumen has allowed him to serve in many C-suite roles within the startup world.

He is a dynamic and thought-provoking speaker, who encourages and motivates others to reach their fullest potential as a keynote.  He understands that leadership is the single most important success factor and freely shares his experiences as a professional athlete, entrepreneur, and father. He was a recent participant of the new Big3 3-on-3 professional basketball league alongside Hall of Famers, Doctor J, Allen Iverson, George Gervin, Rick Barry, and Mike Bibby. Evans was drafted in the first round by the Ghost Ballers and helped contribute the overall success of the inaugural Big3 season. Evans will also be releasing his new book, Every Level of Success: Winning That Matters, in 2017.
